Alan Carr revealed he has been in his 'slaggy stage' after his divorce from former husband Paul Drayton.
They have been married for three years, but have been a couple for 13 years and said they have made the decision "jointly and amicably".
Their split came after a difficult 2021 for the duo - when Paul struggled with his battle against alcohol addiction.
And now, presenter and comedian Alan, 46, joked about his 'slaggy stage' during a chat with Jake Shears, 44.
Speaking on his Life's A Beach podcast, he said: "I went through a divorce, and I'm in that slaggy stage now.

"I want to be a slag. To be a slag, you need someone to be slaggy with."

He joked about being in his 'slaggy stage' (Getty Images)He went on to joke about being surrounded by couples, telling Jake: "I went to Sri Lanka with two couples and I was single.
"I was in the single bed with the mosquito net and I have to play the supplement, it's like an ugly tax. And you're in the restaurant and you're paying... It's not fair."
Alan's spokesperson released a statement to the PA news agency after their split.
They said in January last year: "After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
"They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.

The former couple got married in 2018 - with the Chatty Man's pal Adele heavily involved in the nuptials.
They tied the knot in Los Angeles, with a spokesperson for Alan saying at the time: "Alan Carr married his long-term partner Paul Drayton at a small private ceremony in LA last week.
"The couple are currently on honeymoon in Mexico and are planning a big celebration with all their family and friends back in the UK later this summer. They are both extremely happy."
