A millionaire dubbed an 'arrogant little twerp' by neighbours could be facing jail again over his illegally-built man cave.

Graham Wildin erected the construction named "Britain's best man cave" in his garden in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, without getting planning permission.

The impressive 10,000 square foot cave has a bowling alley, casino and a cinema, but was put up illegally after Wildin bypassed planning laws.

The 70-year-old accountant was jailed for six weeks last year for refusing to knock down the extension after the council got wind.

A court order demanded he tear down the inside of building within 18 weeks of his release, so that it would at least be left unusable.

The deadline passed on Friday, and while some removal vans were spotted at Wildin's home in recent weeks, it's unclear whether he has managed to fully soft-strip the man cave.

If not, he could be looking at another jail spell.

But officials might delay a decision until Wildin's appeal against the prison term at Court of Appeal on March 1.

Posting online, people were scathing about his refusal to knock it down.

One said: "How much is this man costing the tax payer?"

Another said: "I blasted well hope so, arrogant little twerp!"

One added: "Tick tock....knock, knock...it down."

But others had sympathy with him

One wrote: "'Poor sod - why cant people just leave him alone [sic]."

A FODDC council spokesman said: "This is an ongoing legal matter and the council will continue to pursue it."
