Viewers of The Chase USA have been left disappointed after realising the show is taking another break from airing new episodes, despite only just returning from a long hiatus.
The programme usually airs over on ABC on Thursdays at 10pm, but fans were left furious this week when they saw it had been replaced by another show.
The Chase, hosted by The View presenter Sara Haines, returned to our screens earlier this month with brand-new episodes after taking several months off.
However, after just three weeks, the popular programme took another short break with no new episode airing this week.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to share their frustrations, with one person writing: "It’s just too bad The Chase isn't on tonight."

The Chase usually airs on Thursdays (ABC)"I’m going to miss The Chase tonight," another person wrote with a sad face emoji. A third viewer agreed: "It’s so frustrating."
Someone else said: "This is why the Parent Test needs to be at 10/9c then the chase wouldn’t have had this problem."
One fan explained: "I heard about The Chase is off tonight, and at 10 pm tonight It will be Jimmy Kimmel Live's 20th anniversary."
Viewers need not be too disappointed as The Chase will return on February 2.
Fans were annoyed that they missed out (ABC)The show also came under fire from fans last week when the programme accidentally revealed the results before the episode had aired.
The show's official Instagram accounts shared clips of the upcoming episode on January 19, but eagle-eyed fans realised the total prize money of $140,000 could be seen in the background.
One viewer tried to warn others, writing: "Watch out for spoiler alert cause I notice one!"
Another urged: "Can you stop spoiling details from these episodes in your promos?
"Whoever runs your social media accounts needs to review these pics to not give away the outcome of these episodes. This is the third week in a row."
Watching the episode, a third fan tweeted: "Buzzy wasted so much time. He should’ve been able to catch that team. But the team won $140,000!
