A mum was left fuming with her husband as he keeps gagging whenever he sees her breast milk. The man claims he is fully supportive of her feeding the baby in this way but when their child dribbles some out of his mouth or the mum finds herself leaking, the dad claims he cannot deal with it it and gags.
When she has confronted her husband about this, he says he means nothing by it but claims that he thinks it is weird that the milk comes from her.
The mum has found his gagging really hurtful and sought advice online - where people reassured her that he was behaving inconsiderately.
Taking to the 'Am I Being Unreasonable?' forum on Mumsnet, the woman, who remained anonymous, asked whether she was being unreasonable to be offended by her husband's behaviour towards her breast milk.
He claims he means nothing by it and cannot help his reaction (stock photo) (Getty Images/Image Source)In the post, she said: "One-week-old was feeding and some milk was running out the sides of his mouth, he looked totally milk drunk and cute and I said aww, so my husband looked over and gagged when he saw the milk.

"I asked what that was about and he just said it's so weird that that's come from you."
She added that another incident got the same reaction from him recently after the baby had pulled off from her breast which allowed some milk to pour out.
"I had nothing to grab, no muslin, so I just grabbed the only thing I had which was a glass and let it go in there," she explained.
"I went to tip it down the sink and he started dry heaving and saying 'no why is your milk in there'. I told him today I find it quite hurtful and he said that he doesn't mean anything by it and is fully supportive of me breastfeeding but it just makes him gag.
"There's going to be milk dribble and leaks and milky sicks I don't need him gagging all the time and making me feel disgusting just for feeding my child. He's saying I'm over reacting and it's just a reaction he can't control."
In response, many other parents flooded the comments in support of the mum and saying the dad should be able to handle this better.
One person wrote: "It sounds like the reaction I would expect from a child."
While another added: "What on earth does he think your breasts are for? Honestly, he's ridiculous."
A third penned: "Tell him to grow up and stop being so pathetic."
