Gareth Bale has confirmed he will be involved in a PGA Tour competition just two weeks after retiring from football.
The Wales legend, 33, announced earlier this month that he would be calling time on his playing career after a spell in the United States with Los Angeles FC.
It remains to be seen what Bale will do next but he has confirmed he will take part in a golf tournament in California at the start of February.
The former Tottenham and Real Madrid star will feature in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which boasts a hefty prize fund of $9million (£7.3m).
As many as 156 pro golfers are set to take part between February 2-5 including US Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick, as well as Jordan Spieth and Luke Donald, alongside 156 amateurs.

Bale will be among the celebrity cast in California, with actors Bill Murray and Jason Bateman joining the likes of musician Macklemore, with thousands of spectators expected at Pebble Beach.
The event is on the PGA Tour and Bale took to Instagram to confirm his announcement, having been a keen golfer for a number of years.

As of last year, he was playing off a very respectable handicap of two, something he is likely to work on further now he has hung up his boots.
Speaking back in 2020 he said: "Football is my No.1 sport. I'm paid to do it and I always give my best. Golf is a hobby like anyone else would have a hobby.
"There is nothing wrong with having a round. People make a lot of it, but a lot of footballers play and it's one thing I really enjoy."
