After weeks of anticipation, the FIFA 23 TOTY event is set to begin later today with the official unveiling of the TOTY Ultimate XI.

The public vote for the long-awaited FIFA 23 TOTY promo ended earlier this week, where players were able to choose from over 100 nominees to make their TOTY Ultimate XI. EA Sports has confirmed that the official TOTY squad will be revealed later today before being made available in Ultimate Team on Friday. But ahead of the official release, the entire TOTY Ultimate XI has reportedly been leaked on social media.

A leak earlier this week claimed that we could receive TOTY Icons as part of the FIFA 23 promo, and this behemoth concept looks set to be true, with these same leakers revealing some FUT 23 Icons that are set to receive some jaw-dropping TOTY items. FUT 23 TOTY has now been confirmed to be entering FIFA 23 Ultimate Team tomorrow via a FUT 23 loading screen, teasing the TOTY release with a picture of the official card design and a countdown clock.

The clock confirmed that the TOTY event will begin in FUT 23 on Friday, January 20 at 6pm GMT / 1pm ET / 10am PT. Here's a round-up of the latest FIFA 23 TOTY leaks, including the TOTY squad, TOTY Icons and more TOTY-themed content we could receive.

FIFA 23 TOTY Ultimate XI leaked

The FIFA 23 TOTY squad has been chosen by a combination of public vote and EA themselves over the last two FIFA titles, but the team has apparently been leaked ahead of the reveal. First, reliable leaker @DonkTrading tweeted, followed by @FUTSheriff. None of these players have been confirmed by EA themselves yet, so we will find out later today if this leak is correct.

According to leaks, this is the official FIFA 23 TOTY Ultimate XI. Some big names including Federico Valverde, and Casemiro both missed out, whilst the inclusion of Virgil van Dijk and Jude Bellingham has raised some eyebrows. @FUTSheriff has also leaked some of the content we can expect to see during the TOTY event, including some TOTY-themed players released as SBCs.

As always, there will be a 12th player added to the TOTY squad at a later date, the 12th man. In FIFA 22, Cristiano Ronaldo won the vote and was awarded a 97-rated TOTY player item, so they are just as good as regular TOTY items.

According to leaker @DonkTrading, these are the three nominees for the 12th-man vote:

Lots of people were shocked to see Valverde miss out on the TOTY Ultimate XI, but the midfielder looks like he could be set to be given a second chance at making the TOTY squad. Man City duo Joao Cancelo and Erling Haaland are also set to be part of the vote, with the latter taking the Premier League by storm in his first season with City.

FIFA 23 TOTY Icons leaked

Earlier this week, leaker @FUT_scoreboard announced that the latest update to the FUT 23 Web App code had 'TOTY ICON' added amongst other potential new content, including 'ALTERNATE REALITY ICON'. There's yet to be any sort of confirmation by EA regarding TOTY icons. But according to prominent FUT leakers, including @FUTSheriff, TOTY Icons will be coming to Ultimate Team soon, with some big names being leaked.

So far, just three TOTY Icons have been leaked, but it's more than enough to get FUT players excited, with Ronaldinho and Ruud Gullit two of the best players in the game. If these two received TOTY Icons, it would be incredible.

But again, these are just leaks, and none of these players have been confirmed. The FIFA 23 TOTY Ultimate XI is set to be officially announced by EA Sports later today, whilst the TOTY event will begin in Ultimate Team on Friday, January 20 at 6pm GMT / 1pm ET / 10am PT.
