The Apprentice candidate Virdi Mazaria was fired by Lord Sugar in the latest episode of the BBC show.

Lord Sugar sent the two teams to Budapest in Hungary and tasked them with putting on a city tour. They had to plan out their tours, sell tickets and make sure to give guests an unforgettable experience.

In the usual Apprentice fashion, the teams were warned that guests could ask for their money back if the tour wasn't as good as expected and so they were encouraged to provide a quality experience for customers. Project manager Rachel Woolford's team lost out and she nominated Virdi and Foluso Falade to come back into the boardroom.

Lord Sugar pointed out that Virdi had been part of a losing team seven times and therefore he had no choice but to let the candidate go. He told Virdi: "It's very difficult, I'm afraid. However, Virdi. Seven tasks, seven losses. You are a charming young man but I think your time in this process is over and so it is very regretful that I have to say to you that you're fired."

Virdi replied: "Lord Sugar, Karren and Tim thank you very much for the opportunity, I really appreciate it," to which Lord Sugar replied: "Good luck, stay in touch."

After his dismissal, Virdi said: "Lord Sugar said that I really made people around me proud and he also said stay in touch, so get me his WhatsApp number because I'm going to message him every day."

Meanwhile, Lord Sugar's advisors Karren Brady and Tim Campbell revealed to the Mirror that viewers miss out on seeing the duo spend time together when tasks take place outside of the UK. Explaining how often they get to see each other while filming, Karren said: "When the task is set, we see each other and then Tim will go off following whoever he's following and I'll go off following whoever I'm following – very often we come back together later on because the teams will be doing the same pitch one after the other.

"We see each other on boardroom days. Sometimes we’re in the same hotel but other times, like in Scotland [ during episode one], we’re in different hotels. If we’re in the same hotel, we’ll have dinner together – normally typing and answering emails."

Karren revealed they do get to "fly out together" when Lord Sugar sets the candidates tasks outside of the UK. Tim added: "We do go on nice trips and we fly out together. But as Karren said, we are on task following our candidates and then we'll meet and then share notes and then come back."
