Say goodbye to limescale ridden loos thanks to a cheap cleaning productive that is '10 times better than bleach'.

Over time, minerals found in our water including calcium and magnesium can build up - leaving our toilet bowls and seats looking rather grim. Limescale isn't necessarily harmful to our health, but the unsightly brown and pink stains don't exactly look great and will continue to build if not removed.

Fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have found the perfect product to get rid of stubborn limescale for less than £2. Warning: you will still have to put in a bit of elbow grease yourself to get those shiny results.

Taking to Facebook, one woman posted a photo of a toilet bowl covered in brown stains. Luckily, they were from limescale... and not the other thing. "My son has just bought his first flat! I've never seen anything like this in a toilet. What can I do? Can it be saved?" She captioned the post.

Straight away, hundreds of avid cleaners recommend the mum use Black Harpic to 'loosen' the limescale. "Mine was like this in my new flat and after a few times scrubbing with it and letting it sit for five to 10 minutes and scrubbing again it’s all gone!" one user wrote.

Another agreed, commenting: "Black Harpic left as long as possible, then anything remaining pop on some long rubber gloves and scrape a 2p coin over it." While a third added: "Black Harpic, leave for a good few hours then get scrubbing."
