The One Show presenter Christine Lampard has shared some rare snaps of her and husband Frank Lampard, one of which shows her chugging a pint of Guinness.
The 45-year-old has recently been confirmed to have signed up for Celebrity MasterChef, but before she gets stuck in, she attended the charity event with her husband, to support the Irish Youth Foundation.
She captioned the post: "Last night was about supporting @iyf_uk and all the great work they do ahead of the big game today!!" Newry native Christine followed it up with a series of clovers. The charity was set up in 1989 to help disadvantaged young Irish people and their families in Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as Irish students at colleges and universities in the UK.
Mum-of-two Christine wore a sleek black trouser suit, with barely-there heels and natural, flawless make-up, her shiny brunette locks in gentle waves. Frank looked dapper in a suit and Gucci t-shirt. Fans complimented the couple's photos in the comments section. One gushed: "Brilliant work @christinelampard - looked like a great evening and awesome to see Frank and yourself with big smiles on your faces." Another joked: "Good to see an Ards girl with a decent pint!" While someone else added: "Gorgeous couple!"
Previously, Christine revealed how she was forced to 'ghost' a former friend for getting too "flirty" with her footballer husband Frank, whom she married in 2015. She said she was left feeling "awkward" when her friend became "touchy-feely" with her boyfriend at the time - claiming she used to have "sneaky" moments "under the table".
Phillip Schofield mocks Molly-Mae's baby name in cruel swipe at Love Island starDeciding not to confront her former pal, she said she 'stepped away' from the friendship. Speaking to Closer, she said: "It was in Frank and mine's very early days, and there was a certain person, who we don't actually see anymore, who could get very flirty and touchy-feely while I was there! I found that really awkward - at least a kiss is out there and in the open but sneakiness under a table?"
She continued: "I avoid confrontation - I don't like confrontation - but I'm brilliant at ghosting. I can easily step away, and that's how I deal with things that annoy me." Christine and Frank have been together since meeting at the 2009 Pride of Britain Awards, before tying the knot six years later in 2015. The couple have two children together, with Christine also becoming a stepmother to Frank's two daughters from his previous relationship with Elen Rives.
Recalling how the pair first met, Christine previously told the Mirror: "It was a complete Sliding Doors moment, I still remember the first meeting as clear as day. Who goes to an awards ceremony and finds a husband? That was me! Neither of us were even meant to go, and I was late after hosting The One Show. So when we are there now we do have a celebratory glass of champagne. It’s a special evening for us."
