Sean O'Malley will try to avenge the only loss of his career tonight when he rematches Marlon 'Chito' Vera at UFC 299 in Miami.
O'Malley's rise from a KO win on the Contender Series that had famous rapper Snoop Dogg out of his seat to becoming a world champion has been nothing short of incredible. 'Suga Sean' won the bantamweight belt last August by knocking out Aljamain Sterling and defends it for the first time tonight against Vera.
'Chito' has been fighting in the UFC for almost a decade and he silenced O'Malley with a stoppage win they first fought in August 2020. Vera is hoping history can repeat itself as he competes for a world title for the first time in his lengthy career. British standout Michael 'Venom' Page is also making his UFC debut tonight, so here's all you need to know about the fights...
The bantamweight title fight between O'Malley and Vera is expected to take place around 5am UK time. Page should be walking to the cage for his promotional debut against Kevin Holland at around 4am whilst the co-main event between Dustin Poirier and Benoit Saint Denis will likely start at 4:30am.
UFC 299 will be shown exclusively live on TNT Sports with the preliminary card beginning at 1am UK time on Sunday morning whilst the main card will get underway at 3am. The early preliminary card, which is only available to watch on UFC Fight Pass, starts at 11pm on Saturday night. UK viewers with a subscription to TNT Sports will not need to pay an additional pay-per-view fee to watch the event. You can watch the fights via the Discovery+ app, which is available to download on mobile, tablet, select streaming devices.

O'Malley: “I’m just going with the flow right now. I’ve learned firsthand when I fought Chito the first time that anything can happen. I always knew that, but nothing ever happened to me where it was real. Anything can happen, I’m not looking past him, but for fun, you want to say what happens in the next 5, 10 years? I’d love to never lose.”
Vera: “One of his main tools is getting in people’s heads. Good luck with that. I’m going to f*** you up. I’m prepared for Saturday night, so he’s trying to start things. He asked me if I was ready to lose the fight, he didn’t catch my answer. I would have loved the camera to catch what I said back to him, but they only got one side. My mind is in the right place and I’m going to kick his a**.”
