Meghan Markle made a rare public appearance today, with the Duchess of Sussex speaking at the South by Southwest Festival's opening keynote event.
The mother-of-two looked incredibly chic in a cream ensemble as she appeared on-stage at SXSW, with her taking part in the Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen talk.
Meghan was joined by journalist Katie Couric, actress Brooke Shields and diversity equity and inclusion consultant at Peoplism, Nancy Wang Yuen, with the women discussing "how the ubiquitous nature of social media is creating an often dangerous environment which has led to serious mental health issues for teenage girls in particular".

Speaking to The Mirror, body language expert Judi James has analysed the Duchess' appearance, with many interesting points coming to light.

"Sitting in a panel of very straight-talking women, Meghan created a very elegant, almost regal presence in her floor-length white satin dress," Judi revealed exclusively to The Mirror following the Duchess' appearance at the keynote speech today.
She added that Meghan's body language "defined her in three key states", with her noting that these were: "A gracious, encouraging host using touch rituals, frequent applause and some active listening gestures; a passionate campaigner with some micro-signals as she spoke about her causes, and then some moments of less assured-looking vulnerability as she spoke of her own experiences, especially when asked how she ‘manages the seemingly endless toxicity that comes at you’ on social media."

The Duchess was supported by her husband who was sitting in the audience cheering on his wife (FilmMagic)Judi then spoke of a moment Meghan had when she was a "loving and grateful wife", she noted how the Duchess "threw her hand out to Harry in the stalls to tell how she is ‘blessed’ to ‘have an incredible partner who is a hands-on dad’".
She went on: "Her vulnerable moments came via some neck and face-touching, especially face and chin touches with her fingertips. There was also a moment when one hand seemed to be fiddling slightly in a self-comfort ritual following all the disclosure."
Concluding her analysis, Judi went on to wrap up with: "But the messages on stage were about resilience and fight-back and Meghan illustrated this with one raised index finger and a couple of gently-punching fists."
