It looks as though Romeo Beckham has wasted no time in getting back out there following his split from longterm girlfriend, Mia Regan.
The second-eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham has been spotted looking for love again on celebrity dating app Raya, less than two weeks after announcing that he and Mia have called it quits on their whirlwind romance which lasted five years.
There had been speculation that the footballer, 21, and model Mia, 21, had ended their relationship for weeks on end as the pair remained silent on social - something which fans found suspicious given the fact they regularly shared loved-up photos together. And on February 25, Romeo officially confirmed that he had up from Mia.
Alongside a photo of them, he wrote in a post on Instagram: "Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love, we still have a lot of love for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will."
Mia also issued a statement, writing in a post on the platform that the pair had "friendzoned each other". She made sure to add that her and Romeo have "lots of love" for one other, telling fans that "love takes different forms".
Apple TV release MLS Season Pass worldwide and announce free opening weekendShe wrote alongside a photo of the pair: "This is Ro, we have grown up with each other since we were 16. Love takes different forms and paths as you mature. We aren't tougher romantically but we do share lots and lots of love for one another... after 5 years we friendzoned each other hehe."
A source has now told the Mirror that Romeo has joined celebrity dating app Raya as he searches for another great love. "Romeo is on Raya. His profile is colourful but subtle and his bio says he's a 'professional footballer'.
"His photos are mostly just him on his own and he doesn't have any with his famous dad David or mum Victoria. He looks gorgeous in them all and it's doubtful that any girl in their right mind would swipe left on him."
Romeo isn't the only famous heartthrob who has been spotted on Raya. Several users of the celebrity dating app have previously come across profiles from the likes of Paul Mescal, Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, and Helen Flanagan.
It comes after former couple Romeo and Mia, who began their relationship in 2019, are said to have been last seen together at the British Fashion Awards in London in December. A source teased their breakup to the Mirror recently ahead of the confirmation.
A source told us: "Romeo and Mia had a fallout… they aren’t together at the moment. They were living together, but Mia has apparently moved out of the place they shared and is staying with her parents. They've split up in the past and got back together again, but this time it feels more serious – Mia moving out obviously points to it being more than just a tiff."
"While Romeo was playing for Inter Miami, he and Mia both found the long-distance relationship difficult. But Romeo really felt that Mia was the one for him so after he returned to Brentford, he was keen to give things another go," they added.
The source however added at the time: "Unfortunately, they seem to have hit yet another bump in the road and only time will tell if they patch things up. It will be a shame if they can’t, as Mia is a big favourite with Romeo's family. But ultimately, everyone just wants them both to be happy."
The Mirror has approached Romeo's representatives for comment.
