Dave Myers' fortune has been revealed after the much-loved TV chef sadly died last week.
The Hairy Bikers star passed away, aged 66, with his wife, Liliana Orzac, and best pal and sidekick, Si King, by his side after undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. With his down-to-earth charm and genuine love of cooking, Dave was one of the most popular faces on TV.
His production company, which he owned with wife Liliana, was worth a £1.4m and made a profit of £200,000 in the previous 12 months, accounts filed on January 31 show. He also owned Hairy Bikers Television with co-star Si, which was worth £92,000 - bringing the former make-up artist's overall fortune to almost £1.5m.
After meeting in 1995 on the set of a Catherine Cookson TV miniseries, where Dave was a make-up artist, who specialised in prosthetics, and Si was a location manager, the pals bonded over their love of motorcycles and food. They went on to build up a reputation as the friendly faces of culinary comforts, with 31 separate projects since they first debuted on the BBC in 2006.

This marked a new era for the pair, with a focus on healthy food. Si and Dave had both been making changes to their eating habits after revealing they were on medication for issues linked with lifestyle.

But they weren't about to give up on taste. Their recipes included lasagne made with sheets of leek instead of pasta, beans on toast with parma ham in place of bacon, and for the TV series, the duo got off their motorbikes and jumped on bikes to help them get more exercise.
The book sold incredibly well and in February 2014, author royalties body Public Lending Rights (PLR) named it the most-borrowed non-fiction title in UK libraries. Si and Dave produced 30 cookbooks in total, ranging from inviting pies to veggie feasts. The Hairy Bikers' Great Curries is a bestseller on Amazon and received rave reviews from the Great British Food Magazine and Easy Food.
Paying tribute to his friend following the sad news of Dave's death last week, Si said he would miss him every day, as he shared: "My best friend is on a journey that for now, I can’t follow. I will miss him every day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime. I wish you god’s speed brother; you are and will remain a beacon in this world. See you on the other side. Love ya."
