A model in her seventies is now inspiring others with her confident, age-positive attitude to fashion. Colleen Heidemann, 73, began her modeling career at the age of 69, and there's been no stopping her in the years since.

The stylish septuagenarian is signed up to top modelling and talent agency, NEXT Management, which has previously signed the likes of Alexa Chung, Dua Lipa, and Billie Eilish, and is a strong advocate for promoting opportunities for older women.

With her striking white hair and eye for fashion, Colleen has made quite the impression online, clocking up nearly 320K admiring followers on TikTok, where she regularly shows off her latest looks.

In a recent video, Colleen - who goes by the username @colleen_heidmann - could be seen dressed in thigh-high boots, a little black dress, and a chic leather jacket, with a huge pair of sunglasses completing the glam look.

Wishing her followers a happy new year, Colleen captioned the vid, "I DRESS MY AGE HOWEVER I WANT!!!", refusing to abide by the arbitrary 'rules' that dictate so-called age-appropriate clothing.

The clip is set to thudding music, with a confident voiceover declaring: "Don't let them define you. We are strong. We are not invisible. I dress my age however I want."

The empowering video has clocked up more than 27K views since it was uploaded, plus plenty of approving comments from fans.

One person applauded: "You always look fabulous! I love this post because I get told to dress my age a lot. I'm 60, and dressing my age is whatever I pull out of my closet!"

Another wrote: "Thank you I am 74 and they act like I should be wearing a hairnet and polyester pants. You are a gorgeous, strong woman."

A third said: "I dress my age however I want and I'm 67."
