Colombian singer Karol G's private plane had to make an emergency landing late Thursday night.
The star was flying over Southern California when there was a report of smoke in the plane's cockpit. In a video shared by ABC7 Eyewitness News, the plane is seen landing with an emergency vehicle pulling up next to it.
Passengers quickly disembarked the plane and were seen hugging on the tarmac. There's no word on what caused the smoke or if anyone was hurt.

Karol recently won a Grammy Award for Best Música Urbana Album for her album Mañana Será Bonito. She's currently on tour in Latin America. She is set to play Explanada Cardales de Cayalá in Guatemala City, Guatemala on Friday, which could be where they plane was headed. It's unknown if the concert will continue.

Then her European Leg picks up in Switzerland on June 8. Karol G is set to play The O2 in London on June 18 and 19. The 33-year-old singer hasn't said anything yet about her mid-air emergency.
Her last Instagram post showed her on stage as she performed in Mexico. The post was dedicated to those shows as she captioned that the country gave her "seven unforgettable nights."
A sweet video recently surfaced of Karol performing in Mexico. As she sang her hit song Provenza, one of the security guards caught her eye.
The security guard sang every word of the song and was gobsmacked when Karol started singing the song to her. Karol blew her a kiss and said in Spanish: "But sing it with me, they’re not gonna get mad at you."
When she won her Grammy Award recently, it was the first time she was nominated. She was given the award by Christina Aguilera and fellow Colombian singer Maluma.
Outside of singing, Karol - legal name Carolina Giraldo Navarro - recently made her acting debut. She had a recurring role in the Netflix limited series, Griselda, starring Sofia Vergara.
In the series, Karol played Carla, a sex worker from Medellín, Colombia who helped Griselda Blanco smuggle drugs into the United States.
