Noel Gallagher seems to have U-turned on the possibility of an Oasis reunion just days after it was reported the rocker has split from wife of 22 years Sara.
The High Flying Birds star, 55, quit the band in 2009, citing his difficult relationship with younger brother Liam, 50, as the reason why.
Fans have been desperate for Oasis to regroup, but the bitter feud between the siblings has always put paid to the idea.
However, there's now hope the band - who dominated the nineties Britpop scene - may one day agree to a hotly anticipated comeback.
After previously saying there was 'no point' to a reunion and he would have to be facing financial reunion to share a stage with Liam again, Noel has given the faintest glimpse that he's undergone a change of heart.
Noel Gallagher misgenders Sam Smith and calls them a 'f***ing idiot' in rantSpeaking about the possibility ahead of of the release of his latest High Flying Birds album, Noel said 'never save never," to reunion hopes.
He added: "That's not to say that those circumstances would never come about," reports BBC Radio Manchester.
Liam has had a few choice words to say about Noel over the years and wasn't present when he got hitched to Sara MacDonald in 2011.
In 2020, the mum-of-two called Liam 'exhausting' and revealed her brother-in-law had never met either of his nephews.
Sara, who shares two sons with Noel, also detailed the feud between her husband and brother-in-law when chatting with Vogue - recalling how the siblings once had a physical fight in a hotel room.
"They were rolling around like geckos," she told the publication. "Noel’s shirt was in ribbons. We left, but then I realised I’d left my bag in there. Noel knocked on the door and it was hurled down the corridor."
However, after news of the couple's split broke, Liam hinted he was in the mood to put the past behind him.
On Sunday night, the Beady Eye frontman posted a number of cryptic tweets, sending fans into meltdown.
Liam told a fan in 2021 a reunion was "not going to happen" but after sharing links to The Beatles' anthem Two of Us, fans were convinced he'd changed his mind when he shared his fifth song recommendation of the evening.
"Hollies he ain't heavy he's my brother - Google Search," the singer wrote as he shared a YouTube link to the iconic song.
