Despite the face covering, there’s no mistaking Naomi Campbell as she hits the catwalk in a bra and slashed skirt.
She shared the Dolce & Gabbana limelight with fellow supermodel Eva Herzigova at Milan Fashion Week. And all eyes were on Irina Shayk at the Ferrari show, watched by Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
It comes as Naomi is set to be honoured in a "first of its kind" exhibition at the V&A South Kensington, which will celebrate her 40-year career. The exhibition will feature her own "extensive wardrobe".
Organisers say the show will include around 100 looks from the "best of global high fashion chronicling her 40 years in the industry". Visitors will encounter designs by Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaïa, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianni and Donatella Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenneth Ize, Valentino, Virgil Abloh, Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent and many others.
Speaking last year about the exhibition, which will be available from June 22 until April 6, 2025, Naomi said: "I’m honoured to be asked by the V&A to share my life in clothes with the world." Sonnet Stanfill, senior curator, fashion, V&A, added: "Naomi Campbell’s extraordinary career intersects with the best of high fashion."
Toe-curling moment Madonna's daughter Lourdes is refused entry to celeb bashThey added: "She is recognised worldwide as a supermodel, activist, philanthropist, and creative collaborator, making her one of the most prolific and influential figures in contemporary culture. We’re delighted to be working with Naomi Campbell on this project and to celebrate her career with our audiences."
Last year, Naomi secretly welcomed a second child at the age of 53 - two years after shocking fans with the birth of her first daughter. She appeared on Today and touched upon raising two little tots while chatting with presenter Sheinelle Jones.
Speaking about motherhood in an appearance last year, Naomi said: "I love it. It's a lot of fun. Every day is a surprise. You don't know what's going to happen, what my daughter is going to say."
