Mason Greenwood has shared a photo of his partner Harriet Robson, hailing her as the "best mum" in a birthday post on social media.
The forward is currently on loan at Getafe and posted a picture of his partner and their child at a game. Greenwood became a father back in the summer and he and his family have spent their time in Spain following his move to the country's capital.
Greenwood and Robson have largely kept their lives private after the Manchester United academy graduate was arrested back in January 2022, before charges were later dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service. The Getafe star has given very few interviews in recent years with his social media show of appreciation a rare insight.
The player's future in Manchester appears uncertain with the club admitting it was best for him to rebuild his career away from England before sanctioning his loan switch to Spain, where he's largely impressed, attracting interest from several top sides.
A source told The Sun: “They have had time and space to enjoy being a young family and are facing up to the challenge of living in a foreign country. He has had lots of problems off the pitch in his short career, but he finally seems to be addressing them and sorting himself out."
Marcel Sabitzer completes Man Utd transfer after last-minute deadline day dashGreenwood has scored seven times in 23 outings for Getafe, who have taken well to the forward. Reports have indicated they want to keep the player permanently, although United are set to demand a hefty fee for a player they still have under contract.
The 22-year-old has spoken to Getafe's in-house media team regarding his Spanish switch: “Everything’s fine, I adapted pretty quickly. My team-mates took me under their wing and I’ve just been happy ever since coming here, training and playing the games.
"The fans mean a lot to me. The best feeling so far is when I scored my first goal here at the stadium."
"It meant a lot to me, I heard the fans quite a lot. Also we had the training day and a lot of fans came out and watched so we always appreciate the fans, they’re like an extra man out there on the pitch when they’re out there supporting us.”
