Friends is a comfort show for many and has helped lots of people through tough times.

With the first ever episode airing in 1994, with the series finale broadcast in 2004, it's been 20 years since the iconic characters were all together, having a laugh. And even if you've never watched the show, you'll certainly know the catchy theme tune.

There have been so many hilarious moments throughout the history of the show, and plenty of fans will quote it in their daily lives, so when one Instagram account dedicated to the show pointed out that Google had put a hilarious tribute on the search page for Ross Geller, people flocked to see it for themselves.

The post, from @friendstveveryday, encouraged people to "search 'Friends Ross' on Google and click on the couch. Thank me later!"

And when people went and did it for themselves, they were left giggling at an ode to an iconic scene in Friends. Real fans will realise from the word 'couch' which scene this is going to be. Of course, it's the 'Pivot' scene where the pals are desperately trying to get a setee upstairs, and Ross is hollering "Pivot!"

In a YouTube clip of the iconic moment, which is highlighted at the top of the Google search landing page, someone penned: "Love how 'pivot' gets emphasised more and more each time Ross says it, they all nailed this scene." "This scene never fails to make me laugh", another praised.

On the Instagram page, people were tagging their friends with crying with laughter emojis and writing about how "funny" and "hilarious" they found the scene now, and then.

And it's not just Ross who has an interactive button on his page - all the Friends characters have them. Phoebe Buffay's is a clickable guitar, and when you press it, a 'smelly cat' walks all over your computer screen as she sings the infamous song. Rachel Green's page also comes up with a picture of her hairstyle, which when you click on it comes up with 'The Rachel' haircut. Google the characters and try it for yourself.
