The One Show's Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas have shared their support to King Charles following his cancer diagnosis.
It was revealed earlier on Monday night that The King has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and has started a schedule of treatment, Buckingham Palace said. Starting Monday's The One Show, Alex and Jermaine said: "Now like everyone else, we're still taking in the news about His Majesty, The King, and his cancer diagnosis, which was announced a short while ago. We'd like to wish him all the best with his treatment."
It comes as Buckingham Palace's statement said: "During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
"His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.

"His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer."
It comes as Piers Morgan, Gary Lineker and Frank Bruno are also among the stars who have shared their support to King Charles following his cancer diagnosis. TalkTV host Piers posted Buckingham Palace's statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption: "BREAKING: King Charles has cancer, Buckingham Palace has announced. He is undergoing treatment and has cancelled all public engagements. Shocking news. I wish His Majesty a full and speedy recovery."
"Long live the King," Piers subsequently posted on X alongside a photograph of Charles with Queen Camilla while Match of the Day host Gary wrote: "Really sorry to hear the news that King Charles has cancer. Awful news. Wish him a full and speedy recovery."
Former heavyweight champion Frank Bruno also took to social media to share his support for the King. He wrote: "Just heard the news about King Charles thoughts and prayers with him and the Royal Family. When are we ever to be rid of this evil disease Cancer?" Meanwhile, Lizzie Cundy shared Buckingham Palace's statement on Instagram as she wrote: "Wishing His Majesty a full and speedy recovery."
