New mum Oti Mabuse has hired a new stylist to help her feel more comfortable in her post-baby body.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional spoke openly about struggling with her changing body shape after she left the show, which meant she stopped dancing for hours every day.
After welcoming her daughter, who she introduced on Christmas Day, she has returned to work on Dancing on Ice with Emma Lane kitting her out. Oti said: “Once you become a mum, all those things you cared about you just don’t care about. You are not important anymore, it’s all about the baby. My body has changed, and I want to try new things.”
She debuted a new bob haircut at the EE Vanity Fair pre-BAFTA party, which she attended with her husband Romanian dancer Marius Iepure. The former dancer, has previously told how her body “completely changed” when she left the Strictly floor, adding she now has to make time for exercise.
She said: “My body just doesn’t burn as fast as it used to.” Oti is yet to reveal her daughter’s name, but says she is “cherishing” bath time and nappy time with her new baby.
Woman tells of losing 29 kilos and becoming a bodybuilder in her 60sPosting online she credited parents Peter and Dudu with inspiring her to start a family, saying they “never put me under any pressure, they supported my want of making something of myself”.
The star added: “I am who I am because of my mom and dad. I would want nothing more than to have them in my children’s life. To teach them values, skills and advice them how we were raised.”
