Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have managed to create an "amicable relationship" while putting their differences aside for the sake of their children, a source has said.
The pair, who are officially divorced, share four kids - North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. They were together for eight years before splitting up at the beginning of 2021 after six years of marriage and initially, they had a tumultuous relationship.
In December 2022, Kim confessed she was struggling to deal with her ex-husband adding she was "holding on by a thread", but said her children were not aware of the issues as she wanted to protect them. Following the divorce, Ye hit out at his ex-wife and her family publicly, accusing them of "basically kidnapping" his daughter Chicago on his Instagram and claims he was "banned" from her birthday party.

A source told US Weekly that Kim, 43, is aware of it and is happy about it as long as she and her husband keep their personal lives separate.

Last month, Kim and Kanye appeared to have a tense stand-off while watching their eight-year-old son play basketball. When they arrived, they were seen chatting alongside Chicago. But when they took a sit, even if they were in the same row, they did not stay next to each other, leaving two chairs empty to keep some distance between them.
Any time their eyes were not on the basketball game, Kim and Kanye were pictured looking at their phones but not interacting further. The pair was once one of the biggest A-list couples around, but Kim and Kanye decided to call it quits in February 2021 when Kim filed for divorce.

The former couple were seen reuniting for the sake of their daughter as they treated her to dinner at Nobu in Malibu. North's friends also tagged along for the trip and the youngsters were seen wearing T-shirts to promote Kanye's new album, Vultures.
While Kim and Kanye did seem amicable at the dinner, they still decided to arrive separately. Kanye's wife Bianca did not join them for the meal. Kim was seen arriving at Nobu with North and her friends. The mother-of-four wore a very tiny crop top held together by buckles, which showed off her very chiselled torso. Kim paired it with a pair of furry black trousers and a matching long black coat.

The former couple are said to have spent an hour and a half together inside the restaurant before Kanye headed back to his car. According to TMZ, Kim left with North and her pals just minutes later.
An insider now said Kim and Kanye have "really overcome those challenges" adding: "They know that's what is healthiest when it comes to their children's lives, plus they share a lot of history together and will always be family." They added: "They're able to communicate in a mature manner and Kim is happy where things are at."
While talking about whether she would date again, Kim, whose last romance was with comedian Pete Davidson, said she will always be "a hopeless romantic" who will want to be in love and share her life with someone. She continued: "It's obviously such a hard place to be in because how do you go about it?
"There's so many factors, but I'll always believe in love and I’ll always want that and I think that’s such a magical part of life. But I think I’m so comfortable taking my time to not rush it. There's so much going on that I'm not lonely, and I think that that is really important. I believe, like, I always believe. And I think that whatever's meant to be will be." She added: "I believe, like, I always believe. And I think that whatever's meant to be will be."
