Four Manchester United academy talents have made 'bespoke' loan exits, allowing their parent club to still call upon them for under-21 fixtures and training sessions.
Sam Mather and Sam Murray have joined Rochdale, with Sonny Aljofree heading to Altrincham and Tom Wooster to Macclesfield.
“We won’t have access to those players all of the time, that will be at United’s control, which it should be," Rochdale boss Jimmy McNulty said of his team's double swoop.
“Initiatives like these are really useful for clubs in situations like us, whereby we are extremely tight on numbers."

February 6 marks the 66th anniversary of the disaster, in which 23 people - including members of United's 'Busby Babes' squad - lost their lives.

Manchester United's trip to Wolves was one of two Premier League matches played on transfer deadline day, and former United boss David Moyes has hit out after his West Ham team took part in the other.
West Ham had hoped to call upon Pablo Fornals against Bournemouth, only for a late bid from Real Betis to force their hand. The Spaniard's move to La Liga was only ratified on Friday, following delays on deadline day itself.
“It’s a strange day to have a game and the deadline, especially when it looks like we’ve possibly done some late business," Moyes said/ “I don’t want to be moaning about it but you would think (the transfer window) could have been wrapped up last night.
“It’s our own fault but in this country the culture is we do so many deals on the last day. Really you should be doing deals on the first day, not the last day. This window has been a really slow burner and because of that we’ve been left with a couple of things getting done on the last day, on a game night, which we’ve now had twice this season.”
West Ham also played on September 1, the final day of the summer window. They made no signings themselves on either deadline day.
Those keeping an eye on Jadon Sancho's progress at Borussia Dortmund will get a night off their scouting mission, with the winger not involved away to Heidenheim.
The Manchester United loanee featured in each of his team's last three Bundesliga games, registering two assists, but manager Edin Terzic hinted that he would not be involved on Friday night.
“He was unable to train with the team in the last two days because he felt slight muscular problems in the adductor area, which is not surprising after his long break,” Terzic said in his pre-match press conference, explaining he wouldn't take "big risks" with the Englishman.
Rasmus Hojlund is enjoying being part of a little group of younger players at Manchester United, speaking of his relationship with the likes of Kobbie Mainoo.
“We enjoy spending time together," the Dane said. "The young guys have a little group where we're chatting to each other and it's very cool to have other young players around the team. Hopefully we can set an era for the club and be here many years together.
“If you're good enough, you're old enough and I think that's a good thing," he added. "We're here for a reason. You can see Kobbie’s composure. He is so relaxed on the ball. Now he's also starting to show that he has the scoring parts of his game as well. He's a complete player.”

As expected, West Ham pair Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals have left the club despite no announcements arriving on deadline day.
Benrahma has joined Lyon on an initial loan, with Fornals making a permanent switch to Real Betis.
It leaves West Ham light as they prepare to face Manchester United, with senior stars Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio both still unavailable.
"We’ve not had any more from the medical team to suggest that [Lucas Paquetá] is going to be back," Hammers boss David Moyes said on Friday. "He’s been out for a few weeks and I don’t think he’ll be back for this weekend.
"Michail Antonio is coming on a bit more. He’s running on the grass now. He’s not worked with or trained with the team but he’s training outside. I couldn’t give a projected return date at this moment though."
Manchester United fans will see season ticket prices rise next term, with The Athletic reporting an increase of five percent.
According to communications sent to fans, the decision has been made with a view to ensuring “the club operates on a sustainable basis and to support investment in the team and stadium”.
Additionally, the club is said to be attempting to improve the atmosphere at Old Trafford by moving some supporters to a part of the Stretford End previously dedicated to corporate seating.
Kobbie Mainoo was Manchester United's match-winner at Molineux, but Omari Forson also made a big contribution from the bench.
Teenage star Forson was making his Premier League debut, having been on the bench against Spurs, and set up Mainoo's last-gasp winner.
The pair were joined on the pitch by Alejandro Garnacho, who joined United's academy at 16, and the trio all showed manager Ten Hag there's value in promoting from within after some more expensive recruits have struggled.
Mirror Football columnist Robbie Savage, himself formerly part of United's academy contingent, has provided Ten Hag with a reminder of the talents at the manager's disposal.

Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is yet to confirm his move to FC Seoul, but the South Korean club remain confident of a deal which once looked very unlikely.
"I heard about it two to three weeks ago and I thought it was unrealistic," Seoul FC head coach Kim Gi-dong told the BBC. "I asked our director of football about it and he replied to me yes it's true we are in contact with the player but the deal is not confirmed yet.
"If he comes, of course, it would be great for K-League as more foreign fans would be interested in our league. And if he comes as he was not playing for a while, we need to give him time to adapt rather than expect an instant impact."
Free agent Lingard would have time to get up to speed, with the K-League not getting underway until March 1. FC Seoul ended last season seventh of 12 teams.
If the deal goes through, Lingard would be the first English player in K-League 1 since Jordon Mutch played for Gyeongnam in 2019.
Joshua Zirkzee didn't end up making a move to Manchester United in January, but the Bologna forward has plenty of admirers in English football.
The Dutchman was linked with United and Arsenal, but Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has also shown himself to be a fan.
“I remember him at Parma. It’s easy to say that he’s pure talent," De Zerbi told Cronache Di Spogliatoio (via Football Italia).
"Complete, he scores goals, and surely he’s helped by playing under [Thiago] Motta at Bologna.
"I haven’t watched many Bologna games this season, but those I saw impressed me. He [Motta] is bringing Bologna to an unthinkable level.”
West Ham didn't offload any senior stars on deadline day, after apparent delays, but they'll be shorn of numbers going into Sunday's Old Trafford clash.
Pablo Fornals' permanent move to Real Betis was ratified after the deadline, with Lyon expecting similar good news when it comes to Said Benrahma.
“I have just received a text from FIFA," Lyon chief Laurent Prudhomme is quotes as saying by Get French Football News.
"They have accepted the TMS certificate for Benrahma’s transfer. It happened as we speak. Our efforts bear fruit“
Erik ten Hag has admitted Manchester United wanted to add a striker to their ranks in January, only for Financial Fair Play to get in the way.
"I think it is no secret that we wanted a striker," the manager said in his press conference ahead of Sunday's meeting with West Ham.
"With the injury to Anthony Martial, we really needed a back-up there. But it was not possible and we had to watch the FFP rules.
"We have Omari [Forson], we have Amad Diallo. We also have Marcus Rashford, who can play there, but I think for the rest of the positions, all of them are well occupied.
"We have to be a little bit creative when it comes to the number nine position."
Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat could play a part against West Ham United on Sunday after returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty.
Amrabat's Morocco side suffered a surprise elimination at the hands of South Africa in the round of 16, having gone unbeaten through the group stage.
"Sofyan will return on Saturday in the training," United boss Erik ten Hag told reporters on Friday, though he suggested the game will come too soon for Tyrell Malacia and Mason Mount as they work their way back from injury.
Amrabat's international team-mate Nayef Aguerd could be available for the Hammers, who drew 1-1 with Bournemouth on Thursday night.
Gary Neville's early season assessment of Scott McTominay'sManchester United prospects have not played out exactly as the club legend predicted.
After the Scotland international was left on the bench for the 2-0 defeat by Tottenham in August, Neville claimed that Ten Hag was perhaps doing his best to show McTominay his days at the club are numbered.
He told Sky Sports: "With Fernandes on the right, the midfield looks all over the place and the front three doesn't look capable of functioning as one. Does he go back to McTominay? Ten Hag has made five substitutions and not used him. It's almost as if he is managing him out of the club."
Six months down the line, McTominay is United's leading goalscorer in the league and has waxed lyrical over what life is like at Old Trafford under the guidance of Ten Hag.

Rio Ferdinand has warned Erik ten Hag he needs to "sort out" Manchester United's game management after their late collapse against Wolves almost cost them a victory.
The Red Devils gave up a 3-1 lead when Max Kilman and Pedro Neto levelled the scoreline at Molineux with 95 minutes on the clock. Kobbie Mainoo's 97th-minute equaliser ensured the visitors came away with a dramatic victory and spared United blushes after what had been a dominant performance.
But ex-United defender Ferdinand believes his old club showed a startling lack of concentration to allow Wolves back into the game having also led 2-0 following goals from Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund. The latter admitted he was furious on the bench following Neto's goal.
Ferdinand suggested Ten Hag's post-match interview was evidence of the Dutchman's own frustrations at his side's performance, despite praising his team for rescuing a win. "Manchester United will have to sort this out," Ferdinand said. "They have to be concentrated at these stages of the game.

Rasmus Hojlund admitted he was left fuming on Manchester United's bench when Pedro Neto scored a 95th-minute equaliser for Wolves.
The Red Devils were able to hit back through Kobbie Mainoo to return from Molineux with three points in a dramatic 4-3 victory. But it had looked like United had thrown three points away having been 3-1 ahead with six minutes of normal time remaining.
Hojlund, who had been replaced by Omari Forson with the Red Devils 3-2 up, explained of Neto's leveller: "There, I am thinking, I know I’m not allowed to swear but I’m thinking oh s***. It’s a great goal, but we need to sort those situations out better and I was fuming on the bench."

Jamie Carragher has revealed Gary Neville jokingly told him Liverpool will be "f***ed for another 30 years" once Jurgen Klopp leaves the club.
Klopp announced last week that he would be stepping down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season and Manchester United legend Neville could not resist taking a dig at his Sky Sports colleague and ex-Reds defender Carragher as soon as he heard the news.
"I wake up and I get the Klopp news," Carragher said on the Stick to Football podcast. "[Neville] then text me saying he's in the same place skiing. I was like oh no. Can I read you what he sent me? I am in Courchevel. Your manager is f***ing off and that's you lot f***ed for another 30 years."
Jude Bellingham has been reported to La Liga by Getafe after allegedly calling Mason Greenwood "a rapist" during Thursday's match between the Spanish outfit and Real Madrid.
The incident seemed to occur during a clash near the touchline in the match, which Bellingham and Los Blancos went on to win 2-0. Bellingham could be seen having words with Greenwood after tackling the Manchester United forward.
Following the tackle, television cameras showed Bellingham saying something to Greenwood, although the audio did not specifically pick up what the England midfielder said.
Spanish outlet Cadena SER claim that after the final whistle, Getafe requested for Bellingham's alleged comment to be included in the referee's official match report by Getafe after approaching the La Liga delegate who was present at the match.

Ally McCoist has named Moises Caicedo as his 'flop of the season' ahead of two United players after struggling since his £115million move to Chelsea last summer.
Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana were also namechecked by McCoist as two other potential candidates. After arriving from Atalanta for £72million, Hojlund has scored just eight goals in 26 matches, while Onana hasn't convinced since replacing David de Gea as United's No.1.
Caicedo was the player McCoist ultimately opted for though. he told talkSPORT BET: "Andre Onana has been nothing like the signing everyone thought he would be for Manchester United, but I'm not giving him 'flop of the season so far', I think that’s ever so slightly harsh.
Fernandes told TNT Sports: "He's a big talent. I've said it in the past - I've seen him play for the under-18s two or three years ago and I said to a friend who was in Manchester who wanted to see some youth games, I said the name of Kobbie, without knowing he was going to be this talented and this player. The talent was there. But he's better as a kid than a player. He will be in the future equally."
Mainoo then responded: "He's a good role model to look up to and to have on the pitch as well, it's really good." On his performance, he added: "It's a dream come true. It's such a tough place to come. They've had such a good home run here, so we had to get the win. I've still not come down from it. I still feel like I'm dreaming to be honest.
"To start playing in the Premier League for my boyhood club, it's been amazing and I'm now just trying to get a good run of games in, win more and more games and get real momentum going."

Rio Ferdinand has compared Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo to AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf after his winner against Wolves.
Mainoo produced a stunning piece of skill and composure to net a 97th-minute winner for United at Molineux on Thursday night. Pedro Neto appeared to have earned Wolves a point when he netted in the 95th minute, but Mainoo found the bottom corner two minutes later in an entertaining 4-3 win.
It was the young midfielder’s second goal for United in four days after he also scored in the 4-2 win over Newport County in the FA Cup. Former United defender Ferdinand was full of praise for Mainoo while analysing his winning goal.
“I’m not saying he’s of the same ability, or that he’s that player yet, but he gives me vibes of Clarence Seedorf,” he said on TNT Sports. “The way he manoeuvres in tight situations and the way he manipulates this ball and uses his body at times."
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been given the green light to move Manchester United away from Old Trafford – but the INEOS billionaire is unlikely to take up the offer.
Ratcliffe is still waiting for his £1.3billion deal for 25 per cent of the club to be officially ratified. But the 71-year-old is already putting plans in place for his arrival, with his right-hand man Sir Dave Brailsford overseeing the sporting side of things at the club.
There are also plans afoot surrounding Old Trafford, which desperately needs renovating for United to keep up with their rivals. As a club statement confirmed on December 24: “Sir Jim will provide a $300million (£235m) fund intended to enable future investment into the club’s infrastructure at Old Trafford, comprising $200m paid upon the closing of the transaction and a further $100m by the end of 2024.”
That money could be used in a variety of ways and the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, has now confirmed that he held “exciting” talks with Ratcliffe about what the future might hold.

The transfer window has now slammed shut and it was a pretty quiet deadline day in the end for Manchester United.
Isak Hansen-Aaroen has completed a permanent move to Werder Bremen, while Sam Murray, Sam Mather, Sonny Aljofree and Tom Wooster leaving on loan.
According to Sky Sports News, former Manchester United player Jesse Lingard is nearing a surprise move FC Seoul.
Lingard has been out of contract since leaving Nottingham Forest last summer, but has now reportedly agreed a two year deal with Seoul. It is claimed he is set to fly out to South Korea in the coming days to finalise the move.

Erik ten Hag's men made the trip to the Molineux aiming for their first league win away from home since late November. Things got off to the ideal start when man of the moment (for all the wrong reasons) Marcus Rashford notched his fifth goal of the season inside the opening five minutes.
Just over 15 minutes later and the visitors were two goals to the good. It was by no means the greatest goal young Rasmus Hojlund will ever score, but they all count. The Dane was on hand to deflect the ball home after Luke Shaw's ground cross sqiurmed past Jose Sa.
In truth, United could have been out of sight within the first 30 minutes. Hojlund nearly had another when he intercepted a Sa clearance, while Bruno Fernandes will feel he should have done better with his strike that bobbled past the upright.
Hojlund had the ball in the back of the net on the stroke of half-time, slotting another strike through the legs of the Wolves keeper, but just mis-timed his run from Alejandro Garnacho's pass and was deemed offside. Casemiro also thought he'd headed home a third, but he too had gone too early and United had two goals ruled out in two minutes.
A second-half penalty handed Wolves hope of a memorable comeback, but Scott McTominay's header dented some of the optimism within the ground - not all of it, mind you. Max Kilman's strike inside the United area found the back of the net via deflections off of Onana and Diogo Dalot and the Red Devils were under the cosh once again.
And sure enough, Wolves dreams were realised when Neto arrowed home a 95th minute equaliser following a swift counter attack from a United corner. The goal sparked wild celebrations inside the stadium from a home faithful that never ever gave up home.
But there was one more dagger in store. Kobbie Mainoo, a shining light in what has been an otherwise drab season for United, was on hand to sidefoot a striker into the corner and ensure Ten Hag's men won a certified Premier League classic.
