Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag praised the impact of Kobbie Manoo and Marcus Rashford in Manchester United's late victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It took an impressive 97th-minute goal from the 18-year-old midfielder to earn United three points at Molineux after Wolves believed they had earned a share of the spoils in the 95th minute through Pedro Neto. The visitors led for 90 minutes after Marcus Rashford scored just five minutes into his return to the team, having been forced to train at Carrington during his side's win against Newport, while Rasmus Hojlund extended the lead before half time.
Pablo Sarabia halved the deficit from the penalty spot before Scott McTominay added another goal to his collection this term. United then looked to capitulate as Max Kilman scored as full-time approached before Neto levelled play once again.
Academy product Mainoo had other ideas however as he showed a deft touch to cut past Kilman from the left before curling the ball past Jose Sa. His 54-year-old manager was pleased to see that the young charge kept going.
"The way we conceded goals shouldn’t happen but then we showed resilience," ten Hag told TNT Sports following the match. "Especially Kobbie Mainoo. It was a great goal.

"He is making incredible progress. He has great abilities is the modern midfield player. He can defend and attack but also he has the physicality to do both ways. He is also composed."
United's boss also reserved some praise for Rashford. The forward missed training last week after being pictured in a Northern Ireland night club just hours before, and required showdown talks on Monday.

The 26-year-old wasted little time in making an impact and fired a strike into the corner to open the scoring against Wolves.
Ten Hag believes that Rashford is trending in the right direction despite his indiscretion. The forward has contributed against Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Wolves in his most recent Premier League matches.
United's boss added: "A great goal. He has three goals and and an assist in four games. The form is coming.’
