Brock Lesnar's UFC contract details included first-class flights and hotel suites during his reign as heavyweight champion.
Lesnar's contract information has come to light in the promotion's ongoing class-action lawsuit, which is heading to trial just days after their UFC 300 mega-event in April. The lawsuit, which was first filed by three former fighters in 2014, was granted class-action status last August and it means that fighters who competed in the promotion from December 2010 to June 2017 can sue for alleged unfair business practices.
After Lesnar captured the UFC heavyweight title by knocking out Randy Couture in November 2008, he signed a new contract with the promotion. Details of Lesnar's deal show that he was paid through his company ‘Deathclutch’ and received £1.2million for his fight against Frank Mir at UFC 100, which he won by knockout, with no win bonus and no cut of the pay-per-view included.

This contract also outlined that if Lesnar was still a UFC champion, he would be paid £1.1million and receive £1.50 for every pay-per-view sale over 700,000 buys. If Lesnar was not a champion, he would be paid a reduced purse of £600,000 with no cut of the pay-per-view, but would receive a win bonus of £200,000.

UFC fighters have their flights and hotels paid for by the promotion, but Lesnar is the only fighter who had a detail in his contract that included a hotel suite for his fights. The contract included two hotel or motel rooms, with Lesnar’s being a suite if he was the reigning champion, as well as one first-class flight for Lesnar and two economy flights for his corner team.
Lesnar would also receive £40 per diem for meals, at three meals per day for him and his two cornermen. He was given 10 free tickets per fight and the seats were within 10 rows of the octagon if he was in the main event. The only event Lesnar didn't headline after signing the illustrious deal was UFC 200 when he fought Mark Hunt in the co-headliner.
Any chance of Lesnar making a return for UFC 300 was rubbished by Dana White when he recently told Sportsnet: "Brock Lesnar is like 45 years old or pushing 50. None of those calls were made." Lesnar was fined £200,000 and suspended for one year when he failed a drugs test after his win against Hunt.
