Beverly Hills, 90210 actor David Gail has died at the age of 58.
Gail's death was made public on the Beverly Hills, 91210 rewatch podcast by his longtime friend, Peter Ferriero. He spent some time reminiscing on their memories together, including a clip he posted packed full of some great moments that he appeared on the show via Zoom. He wrote alongside the post: "In memory of David Gail. Here are a few stories he shared when he joined the podcast."
David's cause of death is currently unknown to the public. Originally, fans doubted the news as Peter broke it before the family and before news outlets were given an official notice. The skepticism grew when fans couldn't find additional sources and they pressed Peter for answers. He wrote in response: "Please stop. The family will report it at the appropriate time to [the news media]. I am sharing what I've been told to make sure his fans know what has happened."

David's sister Katie Colmenares confirmed David's passing in an emotional post. She wrote on Instagram : "There’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side always my wingman always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone w me the bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another."

Peter also added: "He contacted me back in September to catch up. I was deep in the weeds of something. I wish I had been able to. He was a kind human being."
David not only starred in 90210, but he also is well known by daytime television fans for his roles on General Hospital 's spin-off show Port Charles and All My Children. His last acting appearance before death was a for a video game called Blacksad: Under the Skin in 2019.
Fans were, of course, heartbroken over the news and rushed to Katie's comment section to grieve. One wrote: "Beautiful words about David. Sorry for your loss. You had a great brother. He was always full of fun, laughs & love. Will cherish my friendship with him. Sending Love to your family."
