There's something about a bowl of cornflakes that just makes everything better.

Whilst the cereal was originally invented in North America as a way to curb indigestion, it very quickly stole the nation's heart and became one of the most popular breakfast options in the UK. Despite bizarre myths circulating the internet, fact-checkers have confirmed the food wasn't created to discourage consumers from masturbating. Moving on...

Now, Kellogg's has sparked a frenzy online after confirming the re-launch of a much-beloved cereal it controversially axed back in 2013. Delighted fans describe the nostalgic-infused breakfast food as the 'best ever'.

Kellogg's Chocolate Corn Flakes are making a comeback, kind of. The new cereal, which is high in fibre and vitamin D, will launch in Tesco stores nationwide next week - and aims to reach other retailers on a later date.

Whereas the previous chocolate corn flakes were coated in actual chocolate, Kellogg's latest version are covered in cocoa powder. They will retail at £3.29 a box, around £1 more expensive than the original flavour.

Emily Dutton of Kellogg's told The Sun: "It's great to be bringing chocolate flavour Corn Flakes to breakfast tables. They can be eaten alone for an extra crunch or with milk, where the coating washes off to make the milk delectably chocolatey, whilst the Corn Flakes stay crispy."

Those lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket will get a chance to try the new cereal in the Corn-er Shop's tasting zone, Wales Online reports. Visitors will also be able to take home a box of the new cereal to take home with them.
