A Queen superfan was stunned when she spotted the silhouette of legendary rock singer Freddie Mercury in a teaspoon. Nancy DeTrana's jaw dropped when she saw 'straight away' the Queen frontman's iconic yellow leather jacket pose from the 1986 Wembley tour peeping back from her teaspoon handle.
A striking image of the singer's teaspoon twin shows a clear head, body, two legs and the right arm raised, the pose immortalised in the bronze statue that stands in Montreux, Switzerland. The 'little silhouetto of a man' was first spotted by Nancy's 13-year-old daughter Elizabeth DeTrana who rushed to show her the spoon fresh from the dishwasher.
Thrilled at the watermark doppelganger, the 49-year-old college professor quickly took a snap of it before cleaning it again and washing away all vestiges of the rocker. The mum-of-two shared the snap on Facebook where thrilled social media users agreed to the likeness - even suggesting from some angles it looks like legendary crooner Elvis Presley.

Nancy, from Knoxville, Tennessee, US, said: "I'm a huge Queen and Freddie Mercury fan. I love his flamboyance and he had an amazing singing voice and stage presence too. My daughter found it. She came running out and said it looked like a singer on the spoon handle.
Deontay Wilder offers advice to Manny Pacquiao's son ahead of latest fight"You can see a clearly defined head, a body, two legs and an arm raised up in a fist. I saw Freddie Mercury straight away doing his iconic pose, it spoke of complete Freddie. It was caused by a water spot from the dishwasher, it was gone after that once it was washed again.
"I took a picture because I absolutely had to, if you see Freddie you've got to take a picture. "So many people see Jesus in a piece of toast, I had to take that because he's my favourite singer. People have loved it [online], especially if they're a Queen fan.
"If that brings a little bit of joy to somebody's day then it's done its job. I'll be keeping an eye out for more famous faces in my dishes from now on." Nancy, whose favourite Queen hit is Save Me, shared the picture on Facebook and was flooded with comments from thrilled social media users.
