MISS NAY NEVER (7.00, nap) can defy a career high handicap mark of 90 and complete a hat-trick of wins at Chelmsford when she returns to the Essex track.
The mare has bags of experience but has hit a purple patch lately and racked up a particularly impressive record on the all-weather, winning seven times from 11 starts including her last four on the surface.
She has been well placed by trainer John Quinn who has spaced out her races, all won in similar style to illustrious stablemate Highfield Princess by making all and quickening off the front to win decisively and another 5lb rise up the weights is unlikely to stop her.
EL MUCHACHO (3.55, nb) won with plenty in hand when making his handicap debut at Plumpton ten days ago and can cash in again at Catterick for trainer Milton Harris.
He has been put up 11lb for the victory but carries only a 4lb penalty, putting him 7lb ‘well in’ under Harry Cobden who has won five out of six for the stable this season.
