Kate Middleton 'ignored' at Prince George, Charlotte and Louis' school

You would be forgiven for assuming that when a member of the Royal Family turns up to drop their kids off during the school run, most heads would quickly swivel in their direction. But it turns out that at the school George, Charlotte, and Louis all attended, the fellow parents couldn't have been less interested in a royal being in their midst - and Kate was totally "ignored" whenever she was there.

Not only that but she and William have also been said to "roll up their sleeves" and get stuck in with all the activities parents usually do when helping out with school events, creating the impression that the Waleses are just like "normal" parents.

The real reason that Kate was ignored a the school gates was, according to an anonymous fellow parent, because of another famous parent whose children attended the school.

Speaking to the Mail previously, the parent explained: "No one really gives Kate a second glance when she does the school drop-off. We have a Victoria's Secret model doing the school run too, and the dads are far more interested in her."

At Thomas's London, the school the royal children attended before the family moved to Windsor last year, Kate was said to regularly take the children to and from their school in an attempt to help make their upbringing as "normal" as her own was, despite their royal status.

The fact the parents were distracted by the model mum may have helped Kate and William in their bid for normalcy, and allowed them to partake in the usual school activities parents help out with while avoiding any fuss.

A source has previously told OK! Magazine that Kate "comes from a supportive family so she's very keen on family networks and networks of friends and organisations.

"As parents, they are also very good at rolling up their sleeves and helping out with school events; sports days, fundraisers, and that sort of thing. They try to just be like normal parents with normal parenting challenges."

It may also help that George and Charlotte weren't the only royal children to attend Thomas's Battersea - which costs up to £26,541 per year. One of their relatives was also a pupil, and even started in the same year as Prince George: Maud Windsor.

Maud is the eldest daughter of Sir Frederick Windsor, who is the son of Prince Michael of Kent - the late Queen's cousin.
