Jeremy Renner was left critically injured exactly a year ago after a horrifying snowplough accident.

The Hawkeye star suffered a long-list of gruesome injuries after being crushed by his six-tonne snowploughing machine while attempting to help a member of his family. He was left in intensive care for almost two weeks with his family fearing the worst after he broke over 30 bones, including a shattered right knee, broken jaw, and broken clavicle, as well as a punctured liver and a collapsed lung.

But now, as he continues his long road to recovery, the Hollywood star has paid tribute to the "number one reason" for his recovery - his beloved 10-year-old daughter, Ava Berlin Renner.
