Jeremy Renner was left critically injured exactly a year ago after a horrifying snowplough accident.
The Hawkeye star suffered a long-list of gruesome injuries after being crushed by his six-tonne snowploughing machine while attempting to help a member of his family. He was left in intensive care for almost two weeks with his family fearing the worst after he broke over 30 bones, including a shattered right knee, broken jaw, and broken clavicle, as well as a punctured liver and a collapsed lung.
But now, as he continues his long road to recovery, the Hollywood star has paid tribute to the "number one reason" for his recovery - his beloved 10-year-old daughter, Ava Berlin Renner.

Jeremy took to Instagram to share a sweet black-and-white image of the pair sharing a hug to see in the new year. He wrote alongside the upload how he needed "every ounce of goodwill and prayer" as he fought back from the near-fatal incident.

"There is simply no better motivator to recover than to heal your family and friends…. With gratitude always , thank you all for your love and support this last full year. I needed every ounce of goodwill and prayers."
Jeremy then added that he hoped fans will enjoy the music video he made with his 10-year-old daughter he called his "everything, my only thing, my number one". The song titled Wait shared his recovery story and started with Jeremy describing how proud he is of his child before the emotive tune shared the words of a devoted father to his daughter.
Fans were quick to comment on the star's post to praise his strength in recovery. One user wrote: "You are by far the most inspiring person of 2023," while another added: "I kept thinking of you yesterday and so far this morning, feeling grateful that you made it through. I’m just a fan, but you’re one of my faves. Thank goodness for all the good things that came your way since the accident!"
Another fan shared their own emotions from the post, saying: "OMG, I'm crying again, such a Beautiful heartfelt song and video, for your Ava, pure Perfection."
