Manchester United will be hoping they can turn a corner in 2024, having ended 2023 by suffering yet another disappointing defeat as they lost 2-1 to Nottingham Forest.
It was United's 21st defeat across all competitions in 2023, their worst record in a calendar year since 1972, and manager Erik ten Hag will be hoping he can strengthen his squad now that the January transfer window is open.
The Red Devils have been linked with moves for several targets, while a number of players could also be on their way out of the club. With that in mind, Mirror Football takes a look at all the latest transfer news from Old Trafford...
According to Marca, Atletico Madrid are the latest La Liga side to have registered their interest in signing Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood is currently on loan at Getafe and is set to leave United permanently in the summer. Getafe are interested in making his loan move permanent, while the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked.

"There's a lot of deals you can start to look at with a glass half empty. Manchester United's recruitment department can't have watched Antony and signed him for £85m. It looks like they've allowed Ten Hag to overrule him. The owners have got to say no.”

Elanga has made 10 goal contributions in 20 league appearances so far this season and impressed in Forest's win over United, most notably assisting Morgan Gibbs-White's late winner.
"If you look at the current climate of players and how much they cost, he [Elanga] looks like a real bargain," Redknapp told Sky Sports. "Antony on the other hand, has cost four times as much and he [Elanga] gives you more opportunities going forward, he scores and makes more goals."
