One woman was left in hysterics when she gave her partner a gift idea he could get her for Christmas, and he took it so literally he got the wrong end of the stick.

Finding the perfect gift for someone who seems to have everything can be a tricky task, so when you're given a list of ideas of things to buy it can make it much easier.

However, it's safe to say, that many men are not quite in the 'know' when it comes to beauty products and tools. So when you think of Dyson - you automatically think of vacuums, right?

Grace Martinez asked her boyfriend for a Dyson AirWrap for Christmas, which she thought was an easy enough gift to know. So when she opened something that was technically correct, it wasn't quite what Grace had hoped for. Even though she was far from impressed, she shared the hilarious blunder online and people told her it it could have been a blessing in disguise.

She explained the misunderstanding on TikTok in a video and said: "This is what I asked my boyfriend for Christmas," and added a photo of the hairdryer. But she then revealed he picked another item from the Dyson range - one of their equally popular vacuum cleaners.

'I don't want children staying up late at weekends - I really need adult time''I don't want children staying up late at weekends - I really need adult time'

Showing a photo of her new vacuum and the different compartments, she wrote: "This is what I got." Captioning the post, Grace was keen to make light of the situation as she joked: "I forgot to specify, at least my floors are spotless, right?"

Flocking to the comment section of the viral post, TikToker users put Grace's thoughts at ease by revealing that the vacuum was a better gift than what she originally asked for. "Girl this is my dream vacuum," one person gushed. "I barely use my Dyson hair thing but I loooove my very old Dyson vacuum sm."

A second wrote: "I have both the Airwrap and the vacuum. Trust me, the vacuum will eventually make you happier," while a third joked: "I guess you asked for a Dyson lol he delivered."

"You asked for the one with all the attachments, right?" And a fourth penned. "I mean he gave it."
