Starbucks is shaking up its menu for winter - with eight new items being added next week.
There are three new drinks being added from January 4, including an Almond Biscotti Oat Latte and Iced Almond Biscotti Oat Latte (£4.30 for a Tall size). Each beverage is infused with flavours of biscotti biscuits and notes of nutty almonds, paired with a creamy oat dairy alternative and topped with a sprinkle of almond biscotti flavoured biscuit.
There is also a new Golden Caramel White Hot Chocolate (£4.35 for a Tall size) which consists of caramel flavoured white chocolate sauce, paired with velvety milk and topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of golden, caramel flavoured sauce.
In terms of new food, Starbucks is introducing Egg White Bites with Three Cheese and Red Pepper (£3.65), Mango and Pineapple Overnight Oats (£3.40), Almond Biscotti Cookie (£2.65), Cookies and Cream Cake Pop (£2.40) and Caramel White Chocolate Blondie (£2.65).
There are two new returning items as well, in the form of the Berry Crunch Yogurt Pot (£3.40) and Cheese and Marmite Mini Ciabatta (£3.90). Do keep in mind that prices vary depending on where your nearest Starbucks is located.
Greggs, Costa & Pret coffees have 'huge differences in caffeine', says reportStarbucks launched in the UK in 1998 and currently has over 1,000 outlets. You can locate your nearest branch by entering your postcode on the Starbucks finder online tool.
It comes after the coffee chain launched a new “quintessentially British” cold brew coffee, designed to combine the taste of cream tea and fudge. The new Clotted Cream Fudge Cold Brew was the first ever drink to launch exclusively in the UK and was released to celebrate 25 years since Starbucks first opened here.
To create a cold brew drink, Starbucks uses coffee grounds that have been slow steeped in cool water for 20 hours. The cold brew is then combined with vanilla flavour syrup and poured over ice, before being topped with a sweet cream foam infused with clotted cream fudge flavouring and finished with clotted cream fudge topping.
Starbucks plans to open 100 new stores across the UK over the next year. As well as opening new branches, Starbucks will also refurbish and upgrade existing sites over the next three years. Starbucks is set to invest a whopping £30million in the UK - just months after reports suggested it was considering selling the business.
