SCENE ONE can steal the show in the Sky Bet Request A Bet Female Jockeys' Handicap Chase (2.40) over two miles and five furlongs at Fakenham.
The seven-year-old, trained by Lucy Wadham, scored his first win over hurdles on his sixth and final start last season at Warwick, before switching to a chasing campaign this year.
After a break of seven months, the transition worked, as Bryony Frost steered him to a debut victory over course and distance in November, staying on well to win by three lengths.
Frost, who rode a bold race on Il Ridoto when just touched off in the December Gold Cup on Saturday, is back in the saddle again today, and having only been given a 3lb penalty, the gelding is surely in with a big shout.
SERGEANT WILSON returns to the course that gave him his sole success last season and he can repeat the feat in the Betting Better With Sky Bet Handicap Hurdle (2.10) over two miles and three furlongs.
The five-year-old, trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, returned to action at Newbury 40 days ago, finishing a 16-length second behind Brentford Hope, but well clear of the rest of the field.
Running off the same mark in an much easier contest he is expected to deliver another course and distance victory.
