Buying Christmas presents can be difficult, especially when the person you're buying for is fussy - but there's some gifts that are simply a no-go for women thsi festive season.
It can seem like there are hundreds of different gift options to buy a loved one or family member, but Kaitlyn has shared a list of gifts that women never want to see under the tree.
Taking to TikTok to share the list of unwanted gifts, Kaitlyn gives an insight into what to avoid when buying Christmas presents, and what to buy them instead. Despite including some expensive gift alternatives - Kaitlyn claimed women are worth the pricey gifts.
Kaitlyn, who regularly shares snippets of her life as a single mum of two online, made it crystal clear what gifts she secretly hates, and hoped she can inspire others to avoid buying them. She started off by sharing a photo of a heart necklace and admitted she hates heart jewellery - instead she suggested a massage as an alternative gift. Secondly, she claimed women don't want bath and body lotion gift sets, and instead jokingly recommended a "night away from everyone" instead.
Shop prices 'are yet to peak and will remain high' as inflation hits new heightsThe mum also said personalised blankets are a big no-go for her - she would much prefer cosmetic procedures and raved about Botox as a different option. However, not everyone was on board with this suggestion. One TikToker commented: "I have absolutely no desire to have Botox unless I need it medically. The heart necklace is pretty," and another added: "If my boyfriend gave me Botox as a present I think I would be single henceforth."
"Besides the massage suggestion, your alternatives are significantly more expensive," one user pointed out, to which Kaitlyn simply responded: "We deserve it." It seemed as if the personalised gift suggestions caused a debate as one woman claimed: "Ok, but I freaking LOVE my personalized blanket... soft, fuzzy and warm AND has all my fav people and pets on there!"
But another chimed: "But why the personalized blankets? They are so awful! I'm still stuck with some (and mugs) I got years ago!" And Kaitlyn brutally responded: "Omg! I would die if I got one."
After her video was enjoyed by so many, she followed up with part two of gifts to avoid, and some of these included 'live laugh love' slogan mugs, cheap candles, and kitchen accessories which she noted "are not gifts".
