A dad has suffered a rare and devastating stroke just weeks after having a baby.
Now family and friends of 37-year-old Kyle Dorosz are seeking help with expenses and responsibilities after the man suffered a sudden stroke.
The father was thankfully revived and responded well to various emergency surgeries performed after. However, his family says he is still in the Neurologic ICU with a team of medical professionals working "around the clock" to achieve the best possible outcome.
"There are very few people in this world who make everyone around them feel loved, feel comforted, feel cared for," the family wrote on Kyle's GoFundMe page. "Who make sure others feel seen. There are even fewer people who selflessly give themselves without a second thought, offering kindness, friendship, fatherhood, curiosity, and love to all those around them. Those who have met Kyle Dorosz, even briefly, know he is all of the above and more."

Molly Mae's baby name's very simple meaning as fans divided on Disney monikerKyle witnessed the birth of his second child just weeks before the stroke. His loved ones said that a time of joy and celebration has morphed into a time of uncertainty without warning.
Now, Kyle is fighting for his life so he can return home to his wife Gretchen and their two infant children: a two-year-old son and newborn baby girl.
With his condition slowly improving, the family is certain that Kyle will regain full consciousness. His doctors are reportedly optimistic that Kyle will pull through, given his young age.
"True to his dedication and unwavering spirit, Kyle’s vital signs have been improving and he has, on a few occasions, been able to answer questions with eye movements and blinking so we know he’s in there and we know he’s fighting hard to come back," the family wrote.
As medical staff continue to treat Kyle, his immediate family has accumulated a considerable amount of debt from medical bills, unpaid rent and other expenses. They ask anyone who knows Kyle to donate any amount they can, so the family can "pave a path forward."
According to the page, Kyle is described as a good friend who always takes time out of his day to help those around him. His positive energy can be felt in every room he walks into. Loved ones say he is a professional photographer who captures unsung icons for New York Magazine, tells stories and champions authenticity while celebrating communities. Even with his demanding job, Kyle always found time for not only his children but to all his friends and family.
He is also a avid music lover who had made the perfect playlist for any occasion. "We ask that you join us in hope and positivity as we help Kyle and his family create a path towards recovery. And if you don’t know Kyle — yet — we thank you for taking the time to read his story."
