Dianne Buswell had Bobby Brazier in tears tonight on Strictly Come Dancing with a heartbreaking confession.
Tonight, the pair performed two routines - including a passionate Paso Doble - and at the end, host Claudia Winkleman asked Dianne why the EastEnders star should make it into the final next week.
Dianne had Bobby wiping tears away from his eyes as she praised him for helping her fall in love with dance again. "But this guy here, is just amazing. He has also has started from no dance experience. He’s only twenty years old which blows my mind completely every single day. The one thing that I love most about Bobby is that he tells a story when he dances and it makes people feel something. Not only that, you’ve made me feel something and for that love for dance again," she said.
Earlier this week, Bobby confirmed he'd be heading back to his role as Freddie Slater on BBC soap EastEnders.
Speaking to heat magazine, he admitted of his return to the soap: "I don't know when or how, but I am going back after the Strictly tour. I miss everyone and I miss acting. Every so often, a dance will feel like a scene – like when I was being Patrick Swayze [in Movies Week] – and it feels like I'm stepping into a role, which makes me miss work."
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessHis comments came after reports Bobby is being chased by a number of West End theatre bosses. Several artistic directors see him as 'leading man material' with the model catching the eye, it has been claimed. "Bobby's time on Strictly certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by theatre bosses – they really feel he has star quality and would put bums in seats, given his huge popularity," a TV insider said, "Bobby’s so graceful on the dancefloor they believe he wouldn’t look out of place on a big musical production, or even a play."
Elsewhere on the show, Dianne Buswell - his dance partner - has been open about how supportive Bobby has been whilst she's been going through such a tough time in her personal life whilst starring on this series.
"I thought I would be very upfront and honest with you all. Last week I got some news about my dad’s health and I won’t go into detail, but obviously, that affected me. Being away from home and not being able to support and help your family in a time of need is quite a difficult thing so I did struggle a little bit last week in terms of that," she explained back in October.
Earlier this month, Dianne shared her father had started chemotherapy and she shared a photo of him lying in a hospital bed, though a smile was on his face amid the treatment. The dancer captioned the photo: "I'm so proud of you dad. First round of chemotherapy today ! i wish i could be there to hold your hand and support you in person... but i do know that i’m making you so proud over here in my concert every week ! the nurses and drs are now very aware of strictly come dancing as my dad won’t stop talking about it."
