Woman finds incredible use for her leftover Gu pots - and people are obsessed

Let's face it, Gu pots are too good to throw in the recycling bin.

But if like many other British households, your glass ramekins are stacked in a cupboard left to gather dust - you may be looking for ways to repurpose them. One woman has gone viral after discovering a hack that transforms the topless jars into mini Tupperware.

The method only requires one thing, which most households will normally end up throwing away over the Christmas period. It's perfect for sealing food for when you're on-the-go, without having to worry about spillages - and shoppers have already said the hack has 'revolutionised' their life.

Grace Booth is a content creator and self-proclaimed foodie, with a staggering 141,000 followers on Instagram. In one of her latest videos, she shows how the lid from a tin of Pringles fits the Gu pots perfectly.

"That is genius. That has absolutely changed the game... That is a snug fit. [The lid] is not coming off." Booth said, as she demonstrated how well the lid fits onto the pot "Guys do not get rid of your Pringles lid this Christmas."

At the time of writing, the post has garnered more than 1,000 comments from impressed viewers. "Well looks like I'm off to buy 34 tubes of Pringles," one user wrote. Another added: "Finally I have an answer and can continue hoarding them."

A third joked: "Running to the shop to take off the Pringle lids. If you find Pringles without the lids, don't blame us. You created this."

If you're not convinced by the DIY tupperware - there are many other uses for your leftover Gu pots. Once you've eaten your dessert and properly cleaned the jar, you can use them as prep bowls for cooking.

"I use them for chutneys on a cheeseboard," one user suggested. Another advised: "Melt your wax leftover from a candle. Pop in a wick and you're good to go!"
