Morning Live hosts forced to stop interview as X-rated act spotted in background

Morning Live had to cut short an interview as a naughty act was spotted in the background.

Host Gethin Jones was having a chat with Call the Midwife's Helen George about the upcoming Christmas special. As she couldn't join the Welsh presenter in the studio, the actress chose to do the interview from her bedroom.

Wearing a fluffy pink jumper, the Call the Midwife star looked gorgeous, flaunting her wavy lush hair during the chat. She also kept her makeup minimal, opting for a natural look for her conversation with the former Blue Peter host.

Helen's furry pal, Charlie, was also present during the interview. While the actress was discussing her time filming the Call the Midwife Christmas special and the show's impact, Charlie seemed uninterested as he lay on George's bed.

Helen was discussing her new role in a play with the Morning Live presenter: "It's definitely a new world for me. Although I've done theatre before, this is the biggest theatre role that I've done, so I need a lot of protein."

Towards the end of the interview, things took a funny turn when Helen's dog Charlie found a new way to entertain himself while in shot of the interview. The Morning Live presenter, who noticed Charlie's cheeky behaviour, said: "It's amazing, you are for sure the star of the stage," and "But quite frankly Charlie's been the star of today's Morning Live."

When Helen saw her dog licking his private parts, she was shocked and pleaded: "Charlie stop!" The studio crew couldn't help but laugh at the situation, with Gethin joking: "He's a bit busy now. Yeah, maybe this is a good time to say goodbye." As Helen laughed along, the crew cheered: "Amazing!"

Helen tried to keep her cool while covering Charlie, who continued his antics. Gethin made light of the situation, saying: "People are still eating their shortbread, Helen!"
