Eddie Hearn will evaluate whether UFC star Conor McGregor would be involved in a potential trilogy fight between Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron.
McGregor's Forged Irish Stout has been one of the main sponsors for Matchroom Boxing in recent months and the brand was also on show for Taylor's undisputed super-lightweight world title win against Cameron this past weekend. Taylor was able to avenge the only defeat of her career in the rematch, winning by majority decision six months after Cameron beat her by the same outcome.
Matchroom Boxing boss Hearn and Taylor want the trilogy fight to be held in front of 82,000 fans at Dublin's Croke Park. Boxing fans have criticised McGregor's possible involvement in the fight after controversial comments he made about riots which unfolded in Dublin last week following a stabbing outside of a primary school.

"I understand and respect the opinions of you guys, the media, the country. It's something as a business we will always have to consider and Katie would as well. I do want to make it clear, the support that he has given Katie and Irish boxing and fighters you may not see that side," Hearn told Off The Ball.

"I'm talking from that side. I know the other side always has to be considered for us as a business and Katie as an individual, but I do want to get that point across because for us it has been important." McGregor has voiced his support for both Hearn and Taylor following her win and also wants the trilogy to take place in Croke Park.
Hearn also lashed out at a reporter who quizzed him about McGregor's comments at the post-fight press conference following Taylor's win as he said: "You had to do it, didn't you? I have to tell you this: I'm so bored of talking about it. All you ever do is look for a negative. Conor McGregor is Conor McGregor.
"I don't represent him, I don't talk about his comments. He has a brand that has backed the sport of boxing. It has nothing to do with Katie Taylor, the show, the company. His opinions are his opinions. Tonight, we celebrate one of your greatest-ever athletes. No more questions about Conor McGregor.”
