While many celebrities are opting for cosmetic surgeries, Drew Barrymore is avoiding the plastic surgery trends entirely.
She confessed to People: “I have a highly addictive personality, so I worry I’d continue to chase it, get this and that done. That scares me, just because of my own approach to things. So, I’m waiting on making any alterations.”
So far, the actress said she hasn't done anything to reverse signs of aging. In fact, she plans to trying to "maintain that as long as possible." Despite her personal choices, she also reassured that she doesn't actually "judge" those who choose to get cosmetic procedures, it's just not something she wants right now.

As it turns out, Drew 'doesn't remember what her natural hair colour is' because she has dyed it so much. She also noticeably wears makeup out on red carpets and on her daytime talk show. That isn't something she's ever shied away from.

However, when it comes to aging naturally, she wants to be apart of the natural wave. The star said: “It means you’re alive, you’re living, and that’s a really good thing. Embracing aging is such positive, healthy messaging."
She preaches health over beauty to her daughters (Drew Barrymore/Instagram)Drew is way more concerned about living a healthy lifestyle than one that avoids aging altogether. She explained that she preaches that mindset to her two daughters, Olive and Frankie. She said: "Health really comes into focus more than anything when there is peril. If you have your health, then you can focus on so many other things — including beauty. But it really is the most important thing of all.”
In the past, Drew has been open about those addictive tendencies that she's worried about. During her time as a child star, she developed an alcohol issue at just age 11 and by age 12 had an addiction to cocaine. She eventually was hospitalized after attempting suicide at only age 13. It has been a long road to recovery for Drew who relapsed after her 2016 divorce.
