The wife of a 7/7 bomber - known as the 'White Widow' - is still being hunted by Interpol.

Fugitive Samantha Lewthwaite tops the worldwide federal enforcement agency's red list accused of causing the deaths of more than 400 people. On July 7, 2005, London was hit by a series of devastating terror attacks which left 56 people dead and a further 784 wounded, with four bombs detonated across the city's public transport network. It was one of the worst terrorist incidents in British history, reports YorkshireLive.

Lewthwaite's suicide bomber husband Germaine Lindsay, from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, killed 26 people as well as himself on an underground train. He was motivated by a desire for 'martyrdom'. His wife was born in County Down, Northern Ireland, in 1983. She converted to Islam aged 17, taking the name Sherafiyah after her parents' divorce - which reportedly affected her greatly.

In 2012, Kenyan police issued an arrest warrant for a woman using the fake name Natalie Faye Webb and travelling on a fraudulent South African passport. After consulting with the police in the UK, it was determined that this was Lewthwaite herself. The now 39-year-old mum-of-four fled the UK and was wanted in connection with an Al-Shabaab terror cell plan for attacks across Kenya. Al-Shabaab is a terrorist group from the UK, operating across Somalia and Kenya.

However, despite co-operation between the British and Kenyan police, she was never found. She was one of the suspects involved in an attack at a bar in Mombasa as fans watched Euro 2012 as well as being linked to an attack which killed 71 people in a Nairobi shopping mall.

Now, more than 10 years after the arrest warrant in 2012, Lewthwaite is still being hunted by Interpol. Her Interpol Red Notice lists her as wanted for being in possession of explosives and for conspiracy to commit a felony. Little is known of her current whereabouts, although the wanted notice remains up. If you have any information, you should contact the police.
