Strictly Come Dancing fans were left surprised after spotting Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley in the audience during Saturday night's live show.
The diving champ, who wore a black sleeveless vest to the BBC studio, was seen giving Annabel Croft and her dance partner Johannes Radebe a standing ovation after their performance. Tennis champ Annabel and Johannes performed the Samba to Whenever, Wherever by Shakira.
Viewers at home were puzzled by his appearance, with many taking to X, formerly Twitter, to ask why he was there. One wrote: "Why is Tom Daley in the audience with a singlet on?" While another added: "Why is Tom Daley in the audience", and a third posted: "Awww, nice to see Tom Daley in the audience."
Some fans even suggested that Tom would make a great contestant on the show as one remarked: "Tom Daley watching Strictly. He would be amazing paired with Johannes."

Last week, Adam Thomas and his dance partner Luba Mushtuk were the sixth couple to be sent packing from the competition after what's been dubbed the 'closest dance off' yet. The 35 year old Waterloo Road star found himself in the dance-off against Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington. However, it was Angela who was saved by the judges, with Craig Revel Horwood admitting it was a "tough" decision.
The results of this weekend's show will be revealed on Sunday at 7.20pm.
