Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry lost out to another celebrity couple in a poll on social media earlier this week in which they were pitted against each other.
The poll was shared on the platform X - formerly known as Twitter - just days ago by podcast host Rob Shuter, who fronts the Naughty But Nice podcast. The account tweets a "poll of the day," which typically centre on celebrities.
A recent example asked people to choose between Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, and Katy Perry, 39, and her partner Orlando Bloom, 46. It's previously been reported that the couples are neighbours in Montecito, California.
The tweet, which was posted on Tuesday, read: "POLL OF THE DAY: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and new BFF with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom." It then asked on the platform: "Which couple would you rather be pals with?"

Oprah Winfrey snubs Harry and Meghan as expert claims 'the tide has turned'The majority of the polls responses voted for Katy and Orlando. According to the final results, 58.6 percent voted for the couple, compared to 41.4 percent who voted for Prince Harry and Meghan in the recent poll instead.
There was previously rumours of tension between Meghan and Katy, reportedly over a comment that the latter had made about the former actor's wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the time, Katy complimented Meghan and expressed well-wishes over the newlyweds. Discussing them, the singer-songwriter said that she "wished them both well".
When asked for her thoughts on Meghan's wedding dress though, Katy said: "I would have done one more fitting!" She added that Kate Middleton "won" with the dress she wore in her wedding to Prince William. She said in the interview: "Kate won, I'm sorry! I'm never not gonna tell the truth."
A source suggested to the Daily Star last year that Meghan and Katy weren't on the best terms after the remarks. The source said that Orlando had occasional contact with neighbour Prince Harry, before discussing the pair's wives.
"However, Meghan is keenly aware of a comment that [Katy] made in 2018 about her wedding dress and is notorious for holding a grudge," the source said. They said that whilst it "wasn't meant to be hurtful," it came at a time when Meghan "felt under siege" from various people in her life. The source added at the time: "I would not expect to see Meghan and Katy carpooling to PTA meetings anytime in the future!"
Meghan and Prince Harry however appear to be on good terms with the Brit Award winner as they attended the final concert in her Las Vegas residency last week. The couple were in attendance at the show on Saturday.
It concluded Katy's Play residency at Resorts World Theatre in the city, which launched back in 2021. The audience at the final performance over the weekend included Meghan and Prince Harry, as well as fellow singer Celine Dion.
And a few months ago it was reported that Katy's parents, Keith Hudson and Mary Hudson, were spotted alongside Meghan and Prince Harry at an event in September. The two couples are even said to have taken a selfie together.
