LeBron James was seen giving a confused look to a young NBA fan who claimed the Los Angeles Lakers star had "s******" his pants during Monday nights NBA game.

James was heckled while running down the court during the team's latest game against Miami Heat at Kaseya Center. The jibe was one of a number of comments made towards the power forward in the video - which has since been viewed over a million times on social media.

Many fans were urging the 38-year-old on and clapping before a young voice could be heard shouting: "Stop flopping!" at the four-time NBA champion. The shouts were ignored by James who then bent forwards in front of the spectator before play quickly resumed.

With James jogging back into position, the voice added: "“You look like you s****** your pants!" to which LeBron appeared to screw his face up in confusion. Despite hearing the comments the NBA icon refused to rise to the jibe and instead carried on with the game.

Following the viral clip fans were quick to react to the incident with mixed messages. "Shouldn’t his parents tell him to stop?" a post on X read while replying to the video. "Whose kid is this??" one fan asked, with another adding: "Allowing kids do this at games? What for? embarrassing lots"

Social media users also saw the funny side of the video with one fan remarking: "Man this is too funny," with another echoing: "Kids going in 1st round of heckling draft"

The comments clearly had no effect on James, who went on to put in an impressive display against the Miami Heat - despite being on the receiving end of a narrow 108-107 defeat. In his 37 minutes on the court, James made four rebounds, three assists and scored 30 points - the highest score of the game.

The Lakers had an opportunity to win the game in the dying minutes thanks to an impressive run by James who found a wide-open Cam Reddish in the corner. Aiming for the three points the 24-year-old saw his shot hit the rim as the buzzer sounded.

Given the opportunity to pass to Reddish again, James admitted that he still has full confidence in his teammate. “Be ready again because there will be many more opportunities, especially from me,” James said postgame. “I know I’m going to see two defenders late in games, so just be ready.”

James is in his 21st season in the NBA and is still receiving high praise. Following the defeat, Miami's Jimmy Butler praised the NBA icon and admitted that it is still a "privilege" to play against him.

"I respect LeBron so much, arguably the greatest player of all-time," Butler said. "I really enjoy going up against him all these years no matter what uniform he was in. It was always a constant battle. Everyone said he's always gotten the best of me whenever it counts."

"I think it's a privilege to be able to play against him," he added. "Just being able to compete and learn so much at the same time."

LeBron and the Lakers are next in action on Thursday (Nov. 9) when they face the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center.
