If you have a Samsung Galaxy smartphone in your pocket it's definitely worth checking the system settings for an important update. The Korean technology giant has just begun releasing its monthly security patch and November's upgrade should not be ignored.
This upgrade fixes a total of 65 gremlins with five deemed so bad they've been given the dreaded "critical" rating making them urgent to patch.
Of the remaining issues, 55 have the high priority stamp whilst three are marked as moderate - meaning they are not so serious.
These bug fixes are from both Samsung and Google and they should be installed without delay.
"Samsung Mobile is releasing a maintenance release for major flagship models as part of monthly Security Maintenance Release (SMR) process. This SMR package includes patches from Google and Samsung," the company confirmed on its security pages.

It's now worth checking your settings to make sure your Galaxy device is fully up to date although it's worth noting that Samsung will be releasing this latest update in stages so it might not be available for a few days.
News of this security release comes as Samsung is also beginning its launch of One UI 6 (Android 14) software.
This major operating system upgrade brings a swath of new features to devices including improved customisations, easier access to important settings and more features in the camera app.
One UI 6.0 will launch on Samsung's flagship handsets first.
So, if you have an S23, S23+ or Ultra in your pocket it's worth checking to see if your device is ready to install this free upgrade. To find out, simply head to Settings > Software update - here you'll see any new updates that are available for your device. It's worth noting that One UI 6 could be as big as 2/3GB in size so it might be worth waiting to connect to Wi-Fi before tapping the download button.
