EastEnders have been dropping hints about who Lily's baby's father was for weeks.
On tonight's episode of the BBC One soap, it was confirmed that Ricky Jr. was the person Lily had slept with and thus found herself pregnant. She was rushed into hospital on New Year's after collapsing at a party due to a faulty boiler. However, when she had an ultrasound because she was complaining of stomach aches, the doctors found out she was pregnant.
Horrified and shocked, Stacey broke down as she told Jean what had happened and that Lily was expecting a baby, with the young girl eventually confirming tonight that it was Ricky Jr. who she had got intimate with.
Lily, 12, is pregnantAs she sat down with Jean and Stacey, Jean reassured her they didn't think of her as a child but they just needed to know.
"You're not a child. In fact, I think you're more grown up than I am sometimes. Please, please, put your mum's mind at rest," Jean told a tearful Lily, who then said the father is not her boyfriend and that they had "only done it once".

Lily then confirmed that the father is Ricky Jr. – with Jean almost confusing it for Ricky Butcher – before Lily demanded that Ricky can never know about the pregnancy as the tears fell freely.
Lily was seen smiling at her phone a lot (BBC)Ricky Jr. is the son of Sam Mitchell and Jack Branning, but Sam initially claimed the father was Ricky Butcher, hence the name. The soap has been dropping hints for weeks about things turning more intimate between Ricky Jr. and Lily with some telling scenes.
Back in November, Ricky Jr. and Lily had been popping up in many scenes together. He had kept disappearing to "meet his mates" on multiple occasions and it had happened around the time that both he and Lily had things going on in their personal lives.
There were also scenes where Lily had been seen smiling at her phone as if she was messaging someone - whilst Ricky was also seen to be sneaking off at around the same time, all whilst Lily and Ricky's sister Amy Mitchell were having some issues.
Ricky Jr. was always off to see his friends (BBC)Amy and Lily had fallen out and it was always Ricky who had been seen to be checking in on her, as she got more and more isolated from her former friends. Ricky wasn't getting much attention from his parents, as they were busy support Amy with her mental health.
He mentioned multiple times that he was going out to meet friends or would be home late from school, and fans are convinced that must have been when him and Lily had got intimate and the baby was conceived.
