Adam Thomas' wife Caroline Daly has spoken out about the so-called "curse" on Strictly Come Dancing, amid fears that the show could threaten her marriage to the former Emmerdale actor.

Fans of the hit BBC dancing show have long speculated about the "curse," which is said to put relationships under strain due to the close nature of the dancing duos. However, Caroline took to Instagram to address the concerns head-on, stating that she is not afraid of the so-called "curse." Caroline said: "Are you afraid your husband is going to cheat on you at work? Wherever the workplace! This might sound pretty blunt but no, I feel like in a relationship if it’s going to happen it will happen wherever!"

Caroline went on to say that trust is the foundation of her relationship with Adam, and that if either of them ever felt like they could stray, they shouldn't be together. "15 years down, we’re doing OK," she concluded. Despite the rumours, Adam and his professional partner Luba Mushtuk have impressed judges and viewers alike with their performances on Strictly this year. Adam made a successful return to the Strictly Come Dancing stage on the Halloween special after bosses feared that an illness could force him to miss out on the live show.

But Adam and his professional partner, Luba Mushtuk, put on a stunning performance that earned them the highest score for the American Smooth dance style in this series. The pair danced to Magic Moments by Perry Como and received rave reviews from the judges. Motsi Mabuse called it Adam's "best performance yet," while Anton Du Beke exclaimed that it was "magical" and a "delight" to watch.

Despite a minor timing issue, Craig Revel Horwood praised the "clean and good footwork," and Shirley Ballas agreed that it was one of Adam's better performances. "That took me by surprise. I thought this was your best dance," Motsi said. "It was fantastic!" With scores like this, it seems that Adam and Luba are on the "spooky train to success" and are set for great things on this season of Strictly Come Dancing.
