Mean Girl fans have hailed Walmart's Black Friday advert as 'iconic' as Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert step back into North Shore High School. However, they couldn't help but notice Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George, was missing from the star-studded reunion, with one fan saying: "9/10! Would be 10/10 if Rachel McAdams were in it! It's such a nostalgic ad!"

In the advert, three of the Plastics joined together with Daniel Franzese and Rajiv Surendra to recreate scenes from the hit 2004 chick flick but with an added Black Friday flavour. In the two-minute clip, a new generation of Plastics are seen strutting away from the school as Lindsay Lohan, who portrayed Cady Heron, delivers her iconic voiceover. She says: "At North Shore, some things never change. On Wednesdays, we still wear pink. But now we shop Walmart Black Friday deals."

Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Wieners, rolls up in her convertible car and says: "Get in sweetie, we're going deal shopping," a nod to the iconic line said by Rachel McAdams in the 2004 movie. Throughout the advert, the stars recreate various scenes, including Karen's weather report, the gym teacher standing in front of a whiteboard, and, of course, the winter talent show.

A third user said: "Glen Coco deserved a mention. You go Glen Coco." One more user added: "I think it’s time we finally let Fetch happen!" Speaking about Walmart's Black Friday deals, Latriece Watkins, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Walmart US, said: "Our customers are going to be wowed by the amazing savings on popular gifts, many of which can only be found at Walmart.

"We have very exciting Black Friday events planned, with the type of extraordinary value, incredible assortment and easy, convenient shopping experience only Walmart can offer.
